In our need it now – instant gratification society, it’s so easy to think something is an emergency. We need to adjust our thinking and remember that just because we feel like we need it now – we really don’t.
On Monday, when I took a trip to Kroger, my phone smashed on the ground and the screen cracked. yippy! haha yeah. My phone still works perfectly other than some sketchy speaker issues but when you don’t have the money to buy a new phone… you just – don’t.
Jason and I have talked about ways to extend the life of my phone – one being a very cheap solution. Cover it with screen film. If that doesn’t work, we can replace the screen for about $15 and little DIY work and if that doesn’t go over well, I can always reactivate an old phone.
So to answer my own question… no this is definitely NOT an emergency.
