I don’t want to forget

JacksonSo my son is 12 months old.  He is a 1 year old. *tear* As I’m typing this, he is waking up from his nap  and hooting like a little owl.  It’s one of the things he does that I think is hilarious and I love it and I don’t want to forget it.

There are some things that he does right now that I just don’t want to forget.  Like his little kissy face, or his cheesy grin, or how he smells the flowers, and the way he mimics Curious George.

How he gets so excited when he hears me yell, “Daddy’s Home!” and how he looks right at me when I tell him no – like I love you mom – why are you telling me no? haha.

How he says nah nah for no and bangs on everything with anything he can get his little hands on.  😛

One thing I don’t want to forget is that little face he has when I walk in his room after nap time.  He has the biggest smile and as I walk closer to the crib he lays down on his tummy and rubs his face in the soft blanket and then expects me to scratch his back.  Well, he is awake now so I will go enjoy the moment. 🙂
