If you have an extra $3000.00 laying around, you might be able to buy this double sink console from Pottery Barn.
We do not have the luxury of having that kind of extra cash lying around. However, my husband is exceptionally skilled in carpentry and anything tool/building related. He has started working on building something similar to this sink console. He has made some adjustments to the style already like not doing the X on the sides. That doesn’t bother me too much since one side will be up against the wall and the other won’t be seen from the entry. I just love the chunky/rough look to this.
We are behind schedule already (that’s why we gave ourselves wiggle room in the first place)! Jason does not have a proper wood shop here at this house so we have to make adjustments due to weather. He was able to do a little work yesterday since it was nice and sunny but today it is cloudy and has already rained. He doesn’t want to take the chance of getting his saw rained on. Looks like we are juggling some things around.
Hopefully, Jason will be able to clear brush from around the fence as well as trim the palm tree out front.
I am so ready to have this vanity in the bathroom. It just feels weird to go to a different bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face and so on.
